This guide will explain how to launch and complete a 360 review. 360 Reviews are used to provide peer and upward feedback. Your company might have specific instructions on how they would like you to complete your 360 reviews. Please reach out to your manager with any questions.
Navigation
Log into TriNet and click Performance and Learning > Goals and Review.
Click Reviews.
First, when building your template, you will select who your reviewees are in the distribution.
Remember, the distribution group in your template is always 'who is being reviewed'.
Once ready, you will then click 'Publish'.
After clicking publish, in order to select the 'reviewers' you will navigate to the Activity tab.
Click on the review title to access the review details.
You can expand the panel dropdown arrow to now assign the panel (reviewers) by clicking the pencil icon.
Now you can search for the panel via the department selection or by typing in the name of the user and select the user by name. Then click Save Review Panel.
You will see the panel listed once selected and continue to add panelist, and once ready, you can then click Start Review.
The reviewer will then receive an email instructing them to login to Perform and navigate to the Reviews tab and start reviewing the employee.
Questions will be comprised of four different response types. Each question will display an "Add Comment" button that will allow you to add text in addition to the main response to the question. Responses to questions are automatically saved as indicated by the word Saved in the top right corner of your review. Additional comments will have a save button that you can click as you add them.
Slider Response. Read the question and then slide the circle between the low and high value. A numerical value is generated based on your response.
Buttons. Read the question and then select one of the button responses. Buttons will generate a numerical score based on the button selected.
Tags. Read the question and then select the applicable tags. Tags and buttons look the same, but tags allow you to select multiple responses and there is no score generated.
Comment. Read the question and then add your response to the text field. This is not a scored response.
The progress bar at the top of the review will move each time you answer a question. Once the progress bar is full, this indicates that you have responded to all questions.
Once you are done, at the top of the review you will click, "Back to All Reviews". This will take you back to the Reviews page where you can complete any remaining reviews and submit once done.
If you are done with your answers, you can also click 'Submit to HR".
Once you are back on the Reviews screen and finished with your reviews, you will also have the option to click Submit Reviews to HR.
A confirmation pop-up window will display. Click Yes, Submit to HR.
Can the person that I reviewed see my name on the review?
No, when the review is ended, all review panelist names are removed and replaced with the word Panelist. The reviewee will only see the responses to the questions that you answer.
If you need to make any corrections after you have submitted your review, please reach out to your manager as an HR contact at your company will need to send the review back to you.
