Time policies are a set of company rules on how users should submit a timesheet. For example, a company may require users to not work over a certain number of hours each day. If the user works more than the policy allows, a warning will be displayed when submitting the timesheet.
Time policies are a premium feature and require a subscription for each user within the company to utilize. Once a time policy is created, all premium users will have access to this feature when submitting a timesheet. (Please note, during the beta release time policies will be accessible to all users)
If a time violation exists within a timesheet, the user will be warned during submission. Users can submit timesheets with a policy violation, but will be asked to provide an explanation why the violation occurred. All approvers will have visibility regarding the policy violations.
Setting Up Company Time Policies:

Hourly Employee Policies - Enter the amount of hours (hhh:mm) regarding overtime pay for hourly employees. Hourly employee policies can be based by day, week, or month.
