Templates are the backbone to each review. You can see all your active and inactive templates in the Templates Page.
The above screenshot shows reviews that are in draft mode, live, and are published but not live.
They contain the questions and answers that are distributed during a review period. The templates also contain information on how the review is distributed:
- who will be reviewer and who will be reviewed?
- is this review distributed to everyone or to a few teams?
- will it be sent out on a regular basis set to a calendar date or whenever a manager decides he needs to conduct a review?
The settings of the review will decide the questions asked above by setting the template Type, Distribution, Frequency, and Start Date.
When creating a template you can decide what questions to ask and how the answers will be recorded. The question types are a Slider scale, Multiple choice buttons, Tags, and an open ended Comment. See more about question types here.
