How to Update the TriNet Expense Mobile App

After the TriNet Expense Mobile app for either the Android or iOS operating system is downloaded to your device, you can:
 

• Manually update the software for the TriNet Expense Mobile app when updates are available if the option to apply automatic updates to all apps is turned off.

• Automatically update the software for the TriNet Expense Mobile app with any available updates if you previously selected to have all apps automatically updated or turn on the option to apply automatic updates to all apps.

Android

To manually update the TriNet Expense Mobile app on your Android device:
 

1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device to update the TriNet Expense Mobile app.
2. Tap your profile icon on the top-right corner.
3. Tap Manage apps & device.
4. Tap the Manage tab. Apps with an update available are labeled Updates available.
5. Tap Update for the TriNet Expense Mobile app when updates are available.

To turn automatic updates on or off for all Android apps:
 

1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
2. Tap your profile icon on the top-right corner.
3. Tap Settings > Network preferences > Auto-update apps.
4. To turn automatic updates on:
   1. Tap the appropriate option:
      • ​​​​​​Over any network to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.
      • Over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.
   2. Tap OK. If an account on your device has a sign-in error, apps may not automatically update.
5. To turn automatic updates off to manually update your apps, tap Don’t auto-update apps > OK.

iOS

To manually update the TriNet Expense Mobile app on your iOS device:
 

1. Open the App Store on your iOS device.
2. Tap your profile icon on the top-right corner.
3. Scroll to view pending updates and release notes.
4. Tap Update for the TriNet Expense Mobile app when updates are available.

To turn automatic updates on or off for all iOS apps:
 

1. Tap Settings > App Store.
2. Move App Updates slide to turn automatic updates on or off.
