TriNet Expense is currently experiencing an issue with downloading large expense reports to a PDF File.
Issue: When a report is opened in TriNet Expense, and the "Download" button for PDF is selected you will receive a message that says "This report will take some time to generate, we will send you an email with the report." You will receive the email, but are unable to download the report.
Workaround: Email firstname.lastname@example.org with the report name, and the Support Team will provide you with the PDF copy.
Our engineering team is working on a resolution for this issue, and we will provide an update here. Please check back with us for resolution update.
We wanted to inform you that the issue with PDF Download for large (over 25MB) expense reports has now been resolved. When attempting to download a PDF copy a large report in TriNet Expense, you should now expect the following actions to occur:
- You will receive the notice "Your report will take some time to generate. We will send you an email when the report is ready."
- An email will be sent to you when the report is ready to be downloaded, and prompt you to login to your TriNet Expense account.
- Once logged into your TriNet Expense account, on your Overview page under the "Report Activity" section you will find a link to download the expense report.
