Mass Punch allows you to add multiple time entries for multiple employees all at one time.
To add a Mass Punch:
- If necessary, set up and apply a filter for the employees that are to be included in the Mass Punch (i.e Organization, Project, Paycode, etc.)
- Enter the Timeframe and Punch Details.
- By default the system only adds a single empty punch record, in the “Punch Details” section, for you to enter. Click the “+” icon to add more punches if needed.
- Click Submit.
In the example below, a group of employees were traveling and unable to punch in. They will all be included in the mass punch. The timeframe entry is 12/1/2016 through 12/8/2016. They started work at 8:00 a.m. every day for organization Location A.
By using the Mass Punch function, you can save time by creating the time punch in one step for the entire employee group, thus avoiding submitting a time punch for each employee record.
Note: Mass Punch will only be available to users with permission to use this feature. Typically, this would be available only to Administrators and HR.
